life through my eyes

This assignment was to create a digital story on Imovie the topic we had to do it on was what ever affected our life. I created a movie on Art and how it affects my life. The rules for this project were it had to be a minute long and had to have at least three different pictures, we could put more images if we pleased. We also had to narrate the movie in our own voice.

My digital story was about how are affected my life and how I look at thing from a different perspective. I used different images from my previous sketchbooks and just talked about how I think about art and what I basically think art is.

I choose those images from my sketchbook because I wanted the viewer to see what I do and know how I do it. I chose this story because I felt people needed to know this about me. Most people don’t even know that I like to draw so I wanted to express how I feel. This story means a lot to me.

I am proud of myself. This project was somewhat difficult for me. I had trouble with the audio part. It was scary hearing my own voice. Other then that problem everything else was smooth sailing. The easy part as up loading the images and putting the on the computer. I had a real good experience in digital media class this year I learned a lot and im exited because I cant wait to learn more.

This assignment the student had alter 6 photos by using photo shop on the computer. The student had to put him or her self in the image and use the tools that was taught in the previous classes to make sure the photo with the student looked real as possible. The photo had to be 6 by 6 and each image a had to be related the hue of the photos did not matter. The theme for my book was movies and Tv shows.

In my first image is one of the many movies I like “boys in the hood” I am in the back of an orange car looking in the distance. The second image is from the movie “saving private Ryan” I am in the middle of two army soldiers and we are looking upward we al have semi automatic machine guns. Third photo I am sitting next to the old rapper kid we both have no shirts and sunglasses on. Fourth image I am standing in front of Carlton from the former TV show “fresh prince of baler”. Fifth photo I alter Tupac album cover and I put my head on his body. I used magnetic lasso tool a lot and played with different types of filters.

I learned that altering a photo is to easy so you shouldn’t believe everything you even see! I enjoyed the project it had its up and downs but overall I learned to like it I can see my self altering photo in the future, basically playing pranks on people. Near the end of the unit it got more difficult cause my photos was matching the photos I was trying to alter so I kept taking pictures.
