For this assignment I was assign to make an animal hybrid that had to represent you on adobe illustrator. An animal hybrid is an animal that is made up of many animals. For my project the hybrid had to consist of at least three different animals. I chose the body of a lion the neck and head of a giraffe and the fins of a dolphin.

My animal will live in the forest. Since it has a long neck it will be able to reach large trees for there fruit. This animal is an herbivore and a carnivore. I chose the body of a lion because lions are very brave and territorial and I believe I am the same way. I chose the giraffe head and neck because I believe giraffe a very odd and mysterious creatures and I’m mysterious in a way. The fins of a dolphin, this is because dolphins are the most intelligent animals of the sea and I love to swim.

I feel I did a good job on this assignment. I’m satisfied with my end product but I feel I could of did better if I played around with it more. I need to clean it up a little bit more, other then that everything else is good. I really like the concept of the animal since I know it represented me.

This assignment was to make a digital self-portrait on Adobe Illustrator. I had to take a photo, download it to the computer and then create a silhouette of my self on the program, which is just simply out line my photo. First I was just experimenting with the new tools. We had to also incorporate some sort of font in our silhouette.
I took a picture of me sitting down in a chair so my silhouette is me sitting in the chair and in around me is a red heart my silhouette is typed in white font filling on my body in and the chair. I used he basic Arial font. For my second image I did the opposite of my first one. The heart in the background is outlined in Arial font and my image is all colored in white.
I think the way I cropped my price creates a great composition because it’s so simply but makes you think it has a deeper meaning. I think the font I choice goes well with my quote since I created it. My background enhances my photo because it simply balances it out.
I really like the end product. In the beginning I was really frustrated with this project and wanted to quite a couple of times but in the end it was worth it cause now I am really satisfied. I would recommend this project for future classes.

For this projected we had to do a public service announcement which was done in HD IMOVIE which is a 30 second to a minute movie announcing anything that we felt was important for the public to know.  The length of the movie again had to be 30 to 60 seconds it had to at least have three facts about the subject and had to have some type of music in playing in the background.

            The issue I decided to make for my PSA was smoking and how it’s terrible for your health and others. I carefully choose people holding cigarettes as my images because I wanted to convey how it affected many different peoples life. I choose the song Song cry by Jay Z because it is a sad song relating to life and I thought it would go good with the mood I was trying to portray.

            PSA are really affective in the real world because it gives important information to a different audience. Modern day is full of technology so the PSA reaches out to more people so they can get the helpful information they wont get somewhere else. My imagoes are very powerful and straightforward as also my song so it makes the mood very serious.

I am very surprised at the end result of my PSA I think I did a good job if I had enough time I would like to continue it and put more images and helpful information. The best part of my PSA is my images I think my images worked very well with my song. The only thing I would do over is my transitions and how my text is but other then that everything went well.

This assignment was to create a digital story on Imovie the topic we had to do it on was what ever affected our life. I created a movie on Art and how it affects my life. The rules for this project were it had to be a minute long and had to have at least three different pictures, we could put more images if we pleased. We also had to narrate the movie in our own voice.

My digital story was about how are affected my life and how I look at thing from a different perspective. I used different images from my previous sketchbooks and just talked about how I think about art and what I basically think art is.

I choose those images from my sketchbook because I wanted the viewer to see what I do and know how I do it. I chose this story because I felt people needed to know this about me. Most people don’t even know that I like to draw so I wanted to express how I feel. This story means a lot to me.

I am proud of myself. This project was somewhat difficult for me. I had trouble with the audio part. It was scary hearing my own voice. Other then that problem everything else was smooth sailing. The easy part as up loading the images and putting the on the computer. I had a real good experience in digital media class this year I learned a lot and im exited because I cant wait to learn more.

This assignment the student had alter 6 photos by using photo shop on the computer. The student had to put him or her self in the image and use the tools that was taught in the previous classes to make sure the photo with the student looked real as possible. The photo had to be 6 by 6 and each image a had to be related the hue of the photos did not matter. The theme for my book was movies and Tv shows.

In my first image is one of the many movies I like “boys in the hood” I am in the back of an orange car looking in the distance. The second image is from the movie “saving private Ryan” I am in the middle of two army soldiers and we are looking upward we al have semi automatic machine guns. Third photo I am sitting next to the old rapper kid we both have no shirts and sunglasses on. Fourth image I am standing in front of Carlton from the former TV show “fresh prince of baler”. Fifth photo I alter Tupac album cover and I put my head on his body. I used magnetic lasso tool a lot and played with different types of filters.

I learned that altering a photo is to easy so you shouldn’t believe everything you even see! I enjoyed the project it had its up and downs but overall I learned to like it I can see my self altering photo in the future, basically playing pranks on people. Near the end of the unit it got more difficult cause my photos was matching the photos I was trying to alter so I kept taking pictures.
